Perilla leaves have a purplish-green color and a distinct flavor. This plant can be used both as food and medicine. Perilla leaves not only help eliminate fishy odors but also have antibacterial properties. Eating crabs or other seafood with perilla leaves can alleviate the irritation seafood may cause to the stomach.
How to Use:
1) Add in the tea bags near the crab's navel when steaming to remove any fishy/gamey smell and ward off cold.
2) One tea bag is enough for approximately 4 crabs.
