PRECAUTIONARY WITHDRAWAL -- ASAM JAWA CAP PENGUIN [ Sold as: SH Asam Jawa (Tamarind Paste) 亚参羔]

Status: Precautionary Withdrawal -- Investigation Ongoing
We would like to inform customers of a recent consumer report involving SH Asam Jawa (Tamarind Paste) 亚参羔, in which a foreign object was reportedly discovered inside a packet of the product.
This matter has been formally reported to relevant manufacturer for investigation. At the stage, t the potentially affected production batches have yet to be confirmed.
As a precautionary measure, this notice applies to all sizes of Asam Jawa previously sold by us:

Pending confirmation of the relevant production batches, customers are advised to treat all three sizes listed above as covered by this precautionary notice.
IMMEDIATE ACTIONS TAKEN
Upon becoming aware of the reported incident, we have immediately implemented the following precautionary measures:
- Suspended sales of the product across our physical retail stores and online / wholesale platforms.
- Removed and segregated all remaining inventory from sale
- Formally notified relevant manufacturer and requested urgent investigation
These measuers have been undertaken in the interest of consumer safety while the investigation remains ongoing.
Customers who have recently purchased this product are advised to:
1) Discontinue use of the product immediately until further notice
2) Retail any remaining product and it's original packaging, including batch numbers and expiry dates where available.
3) Contact our customer service team for assistance regarding product returns and refunds.
4) Provide purchase receipts. Customers who no longer have their purchase receipts may still contact us for assistance. Available purchase records may be used to facilitate verification. Each request will be reviewed individually subject to available purchase records and verification.
