Shrimp roe, also known as shrimp eggs, have a strong umami flavour. It is used during the Ming Dynasty as an important seasoning in many dishes, noodles, wonton and dimsums.


They can be used to prepare soup noodles, dried noodles, scrambled eggs, steamed eggs, fried vegetables, boiled meat, tofu, and many more.

  • Instructions:
    - For best results, toast the powder in a dry pan over medium heat just before
       sprinkling over foods. Within a minute, you should smell the seafood fragrance of the
       dried shrimp roe powder.
