Luo han guo (罗汉果) or monk fruit has lots of health benefits. Naturally sweet, it is usually made into a drink as a thirst quencher and also to relieve sore throat, nagging cough and expelling body heat. - Crack and break the monk fruit into smaller pieces then boil them for about 10-15 minutes for a cup of warming sweet drink.
Tip 1 : You can boil them with apricot kernels (bitter sweet almond) and dried figs.
Tip 2: Use less monk fruit if you prefer your drink to be less sweet > Price is per fruit.
