Licorice root has a pungent, bitter-sweet taste that is reminiscent of a blend of tarragon, fennel, and anise with notes of camphor.
- Heat 1 cup of water in a kettle or saucepan over low heat, and bring to a boil.
- Add 1 tbsp of the licorice root blend to the boiling water and let the tea simmer on low for about 30-45 minutes.
- Strain and pour tea into a cup and serve immediately.
