Legend has it that a local tea farmer discovered this unique tea variety and was amazed by its intense floral fragrance and complex taste. Fearing that others would steal or imitate it, he jokingly named it "Duck Shit Aroma" (Ya Shi Xiang) to make it sound unappealing. However, the tea’s exceptional quality quickly gained recognition, and the name stuck, becoming one of the most well-known Phoenix Dan Cong Oolong teas.
