Dried thyme pairs well with meats of all kinds, chicken, stews, soups, eggs, pastas, vegetables and beans. Its also nice with fish and seafood. Think of thyme when you are making lasagna, sautéing or roasting vegetables, roasting chicken, pork, lamb, or beef, and making any sort of potato dish.
Cooking Method:
- Clean the mushrooms and slice them.
- Saute the mushrooms in olive oil for 2 minutes.
- Add roughly dried thyme and oregano and continue to cook, about 4 to 5 minutes.
- When the liquid is cooked out, turn off the heat and stir in fresh lemon juice.
